Who I am

Modicum Archive (modicumarchive.com) is a lifestyle site where I share videos, writing, and the products I use. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit, how it's used, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, you can reach me at shana@modicumarchive.com.

Information collected

Information you give me. If you email me or contact me through the site, I receive whatever you choose to share, like your name, email address, and message. I only use it to respond to you.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site and its hosting provider automatically log basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device, and the pages you view. This helps keep the site secure and running well.

Email list

If you join the Archive through the signup form on this site, you give me your email address (required) and, if you choose, your first name. I use this information to manage the Join the Archive email list and to send you emails, including a confirmation email, a welcome email, and future Modicum Archive emails such as updates, content announcements, recommendations, and related communications.

Signing up uses double opt-in, which means you're only added to the list after you confirm your subscription through the confirmation email. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, so you can stop receiving them at any time.

The email list is managed through MailerLite, an email marketing service provider that processes subscriber information on behalf of Modicum Archive to send these emails. To learn more, see MailerLite's privacy policy.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use it, such as which pages are popular, how long visits last, and which sites or social platforms send visitors here. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information, and I only see it in aggregated reports. I use it to improve the site and my content.

This site isn't directed to children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I'll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
